Põlva Serviti produced an emphatic attacking performance on Sunday afternoon, overwhelming Granitas-Karys 45:32 in the Baltic Handball League and confirming their superiority in the season series.

Serviti laid the foundation early and went into the halftime break with a 22:18 advantage, before accelerating decisively in the second half to secure a convincing 13-goal victory in front of their home supporters.

Fast start and first-half control

The match opened at a furious pace, with Granitas-Karys briefly taking the lead through Simas Butkus and Ugnius Saliamoris. However, Serviti quickly found their rhythm, led by Hendrik Varul, who scored four times in the opening seven minutes to turn the tide.

A strong mid-first-half spell saw Serviti stretch the lead to 18:9 by the 23rd minute, forcing Granitas-Karys into a timeout. Despite a late push from the visitors, including goals from Benediktas Labutis and Ernestas Guogis, the home side maintained control and went into halftime leading 22:18.

Second-half surge decides the contest
